My Project Plans Were Two Months Out of Date. I Rebuilt Them From the Record.
I built my project plans during my second week at a new job, back when I understood maybe a third of what I was hearing. Two months later I opened one of them and nothing in it meant anything to me. So instead of fixing it from memory, I pointed Claude at four months of meetings, Slack, and email and had it rebuild the whole thing from the record. It found work I'd completely forgotten finishing, and tasks I'd agreed to and never written down.

What I Actually Built to Get Running by Day One
Last week's post was about how it felt. If you want to build something like this yourself, this is the version with the actual mechanics.

I Was Running by Day One. Usually That Takes Weeks.
I started a new job about a month ago and braced for the usual rebuild, recreating every script and process I'd relied on before. Instead, I connected a few tools on day one. By week two, someone said a name I didn't recognize, and I already had a profile on them. This is what changed when the context showed up before I did.
